I’ve always been rather impressed with how Chase tends to keep pace with technology. When QuickDeposit first came out for iOS, we eagerly set a signed check on the dining room table and snapped away, with mixed results. So, when the Chase Mobile for Windows 8 app came out, I was optimistic, but not expecting much. Boy, was I surprised at how much better it’s gotten!

Thor: The Dark World Trailer Released by Marvel This Morning!
We’ve been following the development of the Marvel Universe avidly. This fall, Thor stars in another movie with Thor: The Dark World.
The trailer teases at some of the plot points we were hoping for: Thor’s relationship with Jane, more interaction between Earth and Asgard, and, of course, epic battle scenes. Post production on the film was finished last week, so we’re looking forward to more upcoming teases and trailers before the November release!

We’ve been avidly watching the trailers for Man of Steel. In case you’ve been under a rock, Man of Steel is the Superman origin story in theaters June 14th. Yes, we’re excited for the hot guy in the tight suit. But the special effects, the plot? That’s what’s really drawing us in to the latest Man of Steel trailer. Windows 8 Upgrade Price Increasing in February
Windows 8 Upgrade Pricing Goes Up Next Month – Get Your Copy Today!
Today is the LAST day to buy a computer with Windows 7 on it and be able to buy the Windows 8 upgrade for only $14.99. As we reported back in August, Microsoft is offering upgrades on any Windows 7 PCs bought between June 2nd, 2012 and today. If you’re thinking of buying a new laptop or computer that runs Windows, go TODAY, January 31st! While you can still register for the upgrade until February 28th, today is the last day you can purchase the computer and qualify for the upgrade. Register for your upgrade here.
If you did not buy a new computer, the last day to purchase a copy of Windows 8 for $39.99 is today. Again, that’s TODAY, January 31st, 2012. You can buy a copy from Microsoft here. Other sellers have offered various rebates/freebies/gifts cards with purchase of a Windows 8 upgrade in the past (I bought my copy for $60 on Amazon, but it came with a $30 Amazon credit), so it helps to shop around. Starting February 1, the Windows 8 upgrade price is $119.99 for the standard version of Windows 8 and $199.99 for the Pro edition. The only discount Microsoft is currently offering after February 1st is $69.99 for Windows 8 Pro for qualifying students.
If you haven’t decided yet if you want to upgrade to Windows 8, or are planning on buying a new computer in the near future, it may be a good idea to go get a copy of Windows 8 today and save yourself some cash.

Nvidia Press Conference Tonight to Debut New Tegra Products
Tonight, January 6th, 2013 at 8 pm Pacific Time, Nvidia will be hosting a press conference at CES to debut their new Tegra Products.
We’ll be watching the livestream of the event and posting updates here. Rumors include that Nvidia will be introducing new Tegra products (including a possible successor to the Tegra 3 mobile processor), “gaming innovations,” and an advanced in-vehicle infotainment system. Stay tuned!
