Xbox Live Gold: Now Two Free Games Per Month

Double the Free Games on Xbox Live Gold

Microsoft announced more free games during their E3 2013 press conference. Xbox Live Gold members will now receive two free games per month. They seem to be borrowing conservatively from the Playstation Plus service’s monthly free games. Xbox Live members will now get two pre-selected games to keep, starting with Assassin’s Creed II and Halo 3. Odds are good that if you’re a gold member, you already have these games and have played them out years ago, sadly.  So, it’s not exactly an impressive start, but hey–a little is better than nothing, I guess.  And for those of you coming in late to Xbox, free games!  We’re hoping to see current or indie releases mixed in with older ones.  With two a month, free Xbox games should have a bit more variety then before.

More details will be posted as we get them!
