Watch Joss Whedon Talk Much Ado About Nothing

Shakespeare And Joss Whedon Should Have Been A Couple

As much as I love Kenneth Branagh’s version of Much Ado About Nothing, I have to admit that Joss Whedon’s version really has me excited. Part of that is, of course, simply because so many of the great casts he’s used in his various series’ over the years are coming together, but part of it is also just that it’s a great story. To see it retold in a modern setting with a Whedonesque take should be something special.

Take a gander at this cool, brief video of Whedon explaining the why’s and whether-to’s, intercut with some of the first direct footage publicly released. June 7th is when the movie opens in a ridiculously small 5 theaters. That’s really my only “WTF?” regarding the film!
