It’s Here ……
All that Nerdy Stuff finally received its console for backing the OUYA Project on Kickstarter.com. We have long anticipated the OUYA arrival since March 28th 2013 when OUYA announced shipping had begun with early backers receiving the first units. OUYA is manufactured in Hong Kong, China and is shipped directly from the manufacturer to the early kickstarter backers. If you haven’t heard, the OUYA console is about a 3 inch cube using a Quad-Core 1.7 GHz ARM Nvidea Tegra 3 processor with ULP Geforce GPU all running on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The OUYA is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory for media and game storage. Not enough storage? No worries! The console comes with a handy USB 2.0 port for additional storage. If you are looking forward to creating your own software MOD or Game simply plug your PC in to the Micro USB port. If you have a big beautiful HD TV, the OUYA comes standard with a HDMI port capable of 1080p, 1080i and 720p. OUYA Features both a Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for Downloading content including Games and Updates.
Connecting the Wireless Controller to the console is fairly straightforward with Bluetooth LE 4.0. though the console takes several minutes to initially pair with your controller.
