Microsoft now taking your app submissions!

How to build a windows 8 app - all that nerdy stuf

Create your app under one of 120 markets – app submissions open to individuals!

Microsoft has opened the Windows store to individuals for app submissions.  Previously, only businesses were being allowed to submit apps.  As we reported last week, Microsoft has also posted free tools and tutorials for anyone interested in creating their own app.  Both Windows 8 apps and traditional apps can be submitted to the store.

Additionally, 82 new markets for app submission were announced.  This increases the total number of markets available for app submissions to 120.  We’re expecting more markets to be added as the release of Windows 8 grows closer.
