How to: Find all apps in Windows 8

windows 8 all apps - all that nerdy stuff

Where are my apps?

The start screen in Windows 8 will show any apps you’ve “pinned,” sorted and arranged.  But it isn’t going to show every application that’s installed on your computer. How to find all apps on your computer is very easy.  Read on to find out how!

From the start screen, right-click anywhere on the screen that is NOT a tile.  Any blank space will do.  A bar will appear at the bottom of your screen.  In the far right-hand corner is a button that says “all apps” (see the picture above – my desktop is purple, yours might be a different color.)  This is how you find all apps.  Move your mouse down and click the button.
