I'm a little pissed that "can't" change the future! I was really, really praying that kid Ben would die, if only to see how the whole time travel thing really works. While it may not be as good as it once was, however, it's hardly jumped the shark - c'mon. Fonzie LITTERALLY jumped a SHARK. Lost isn't THAT bad... yet. However, I feel the need to point out that your clear and thoughtful analysis of cult TV shows suggests, to me, that you might be infected with The NERD. It's ok - The NERD is a common infection, and many are suffering in the same way you are.
